S-13 Policy:

The Salt Lake City School District Board of Education strives to ensure that all students, including intersex, transgender, and gender nonconforming students, reach their fullest potential by creating safe and supportive environments in our schools. All students deserve respectful and inclusive learning environments that value students’ gender identity and gender expression. The board encourages the development of the school climates where difference is valued for the positive contribution that it makes to creating a more vibrant and diverse community.
